Manufacturing Controller – Operations Finance leads planning process for manufacturing (One own factory in Lalru and Four 3PM/copackers across the country) & fresh milk (costs assumptions & productivity) and monitors performance with relevant KPIs. The incumbent acts as a business partner who challenges resource/costs allocation across manufacturing teams, analyses manufacturing cost performance (Internal & External), monitors monthly closing, budget/rolling forecasts, reviews and benchmarks manufacturing cost vs other factories / co-packers within Danone network and external competition and supports operations unit leaders.

• Monitor productivity projects, highlighting link between cost drivers and financials, and drive benchmark discussions.
• Optimize return on investment for CAPEX projects by building robust business cases.
• Ensure reliability of manufacturing standard costs for all SKUs and track accurately SKU-wise actual costs with analysis of cost driver impacts.
• Oversee Industrial costs and milk cost, productivity and key industrial cost drivers
• Responsible for 3PM / co-packer costs, productivity and key cost drivers including sourcing costs for co-packer supplies
• Co-lead productivity projects & portfolio review and validations
• Support Industrial (own plant and 3PM) and milk costing performance through ad hoc analysis and recommendations including CAPEX ROI
• Support procurement costs of 3PM / co-packer through detailed analysis of cost sheets including benchmarking of costs and make recommendations for commercial terms with 3PM / co-packers
• Animate internal and external benchmarks discussions about manufacturing costs
• Establish Group reporting of items in scope
• Maintain local Business Intelligence tools updated on items in scope
• Review and approve industrial contracts as per defined policy
• Ensure compliance of accounting, audits and internal control rules
• Support Business Process owners and adequate ownership of controls and support internal control team during testing.

Education: CMA with 15+ years’ experience / CA with 10+ years’ experience

Relevant work experience: FMCG / Foods / Pharma industries in a manufacturing setup

Tools: Working knowledge of SAP is a must. Exposure to standard costing methods in SAP and Power BI will be an added advantage.
