Job Description: Business Development Manager – BFSI & Fintech (India)

Location: Mumbai (with travel to key financial hubs)

Business Lines This Role Will Drive

1. Broadside – Mass Emailing Platform

Broadside is a high-performance, enterprise-grade bulk email platform used for large-scale, mission-critical communication.

Typical BFSI use cases:

 Transaction alerts

 Customer communication

 Regulatory and account statements

 Campaigns at scale

Commercial model:

 Volume-based pricing

 Deal size: ₹20 lakh to ₹2 crore per annum

2. Technology Services – T&M (Staff Augmentation)

Remiges provides high-quality engineering teams for building and maintaining enterprise systems.

Scope:

 Engagement size: 4–5 engineers to 50+ engineers

 Monthly billing: ₹75,000 to ₹2.5 lakh per engineer

 Potential to scale into large, long-term engagements

Role Purpose

To build a strong business pipeline and drive new client acquisition in the BFSI and Fintech sectors in India, by:

 Creating entry points for Broadside (product-led sales)

 Identifying and unlocking T&M (services) opportunities

This is a pure hunter role with clear commercial accountability, focused on generating profitable business and driving opportunities to closure in collaboration with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pipeline Creation & Market Development (Primary Accountability)

 Target BFSI and Fintech organisations (banks, NBFCs, brokerages, fintech platforms, etc.)

 Build a structured outbound engine through:

o Cold emailing

o LinkedIn outreach

o Calling

o Industry networking

 Engage decision-makers (CTO, CIO, Product, Marketing heads)

 Build and maintain a high-quality, high-value pipeline

2. Opportunity Qualification & Deal Development

 Understand client requirements for:

o Email communication scale (Broadside)

o Technology resource needs (T&M)

 Qualify opportunities based on:

o Business potential

o Commercial viability

 Position solutions and move opportunities to:

o Demo stage (Broadside)

o Solution discussions (T&M)

 Coordinate with internal teams for demos and proposals

3. Revenue Conversion (with Internal Teams)

 Drive opportunities from first contact to closure

 Maintain deal momentum through structured follow-ups

 Participate in commercial discussions and negotiations

4. Pricing Discipline & Margin Protection (Critical Responsibility)

 Ensure all deals are structured in line with Remiges’ pricing guidelines and margin expectations

 Avoid unnecessary discounting or price dilution to close deals

 Balance revenue targets with profitability and long-term value creation

 Work with internal stakeholders to arrive at commercially sound proposals

 Demonstrate ability to sell on value, not just on price

5. Cross-Sell & Revenue Expansion

 Identify T&M opportunities within Broadside-led conversations

 Expand engagement within accounts

 Maximise revenue potential per client

6. Sales Discipline & Reporting

 Track outreach, meetings, and pipeline stages

 Maintain strong CRM discipline

 Build a predictable and measurable funnel

Revenue Targets & Expectations

 Year 1: ₹3 – ₹5 crore revenue

 Growth Path: Scale to ₹8 – ₹10 crore+ annually

Performance will be evaluated on:

 Pipeline value and quality

 Conversion ratios

 Revenue closed (product + services contribution)

 Quality of revenue (pricing discipline and margin adherence)

 Consistency of outbound activity

Ideal Candidate Profile

 Experience: 4–10 years in B2B sales / business development

 Background in:

o SaaS / technology products / IT services

o BFSI / Fintech exposure preferred

 Proven ability to:

o Build pipeline from scratch

o Engage senior stakeholders

o Close deals with commercial discipline
