Roles and Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Quality Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete quality process cycle within assigned partner factories. This includes controlling sample approvals, tracking in-house raw material production, managing material testing, and authorizing cutting permissions.
- Global Brand Compliance: Act as the ultimate representative and decision-maker for the international buyer. Implement the buyer’s global work manuals and ensure the factory strictly complies with international Quality SOPs at every process milestone.
- Pre-Production & Process Audits: Facilitate Pre-Production (PP) meetings to align factory operations with brand expectations. Conduct rigorous In-line and In-process Quality Control (IPQC) audits across cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing departments.
- Final Quality Assurance: Lead Final Random Inspections (FRI) to validate and guarantee the quality of the finished products before they are cleared for international shipment.
- Team Leadership & Training: Directly manage, train, and empower factory-nominated QA teams. Educate production personnel to foster a culture of continuous quality improvement that meets strict global brand standards.
- KPI Optimization: Drive critical quality metrics by actively reducing Defects per Hundred Units (DHU%), maximizing the First-Time-Right (first audit pass) rate, minimizing inward rejections, and driving down global customer returns.
- Reporting & Analytics: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly quality performance dashboards, providing actionable insights and in-process reports to global management stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
- B-Tech/NIFT with 5+ yrs experience in Garment Manufacturing & QA functions.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in MS-Office is must.
- Previous experience in retail & e-commerce added advantage.
