Job Title: Application Engineer

Location: Amman (Jordan)

OVERVIEW OF FUNCTION

Festo MENA is searching for a motivated candidate with proven technical and sales skills in industrial automation field, committed to a long-term employment in our Regional Office in Amman as per the following details:

MAIN DUTIES

Provide technical support services to our distribution network in the MENA region and to end customers

Consult and advise existing and new customers in the MENA region on their applications and present the benefits of our products and services in accordance with their needs

Actively support the sales team in pre-sales and post sales activities, including preparing technical offers, selecting products, and participating in customer meetings.

Be in direct contact with customers (on-site and remotely) to understand their needs, propose solutions, and follow up on ongoing opportunities and projects.

Support customers with troubleshooting, application optimization, and technical problem-solving related to Festo products and solutions

Support project installation and commissioning on site for Festo products and solutions

Proactive implementation of our product strategies by expert advice concerning all aspects of industrial automation

Conduct product presentations & trainings to customers

Collaborate with the sales team to provide tailored automation solutions for customers

APPLICANT’S PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering

Fesh graduate up to 2 years working experience, preferably in the industrial automation field

Basic to good knowledge of pneumatic and electric automation technology; strong willingness to learn and develop further

Arabic (native), excellent English (oral and written), German is an advantage

Very good communication and presentation skills

Willingness to frequently travel in the MENA region as required

Team worker, customer oriented, independent, flexible and open-minded

Mastering PC and MS-Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Experience with engineering software tools would be an advantage
