Job Description

We are seeking a QA Engineer with 1-3 years of experience to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate must have a strong technical understanding of modern web automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Appium etc with hands-on experience of working with these tools. The QA engineer will be responsible for automating tests with an

aggressive test strategy and ensuring high-quality software delivery through a good mix of automated and manual testing processes. This role requires technical expertise in web testing tooling, plus the ability to collaborate & communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure high quality engineering deliveries.

Skills & Desired Candidate Profile

● Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / MCA.

● Minimum 1years of experience in software testing

● Excellent testing, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

● Good experience in web, mobile and backend API testing with tools like Selenium, Appium, BrowserStack, Postman and other low or no code tools etc.

● Experience in at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript etc.)

● Good understanding of SQL and database testing.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Design exhaustive test suite for a given application or feature

● Own QA for your builds by designing, writing & executing high quality test cases - both automated & manual as an individual contributor.

● Ensure each build is in line with the PRDs from both functional and non-functional aspects.

● Being vocal about product requirements and suggesting positive changes.

● Work with engineering leads and product managers to refine test cases and strategy, if needed.

● Gain deep product & business context of the products to highlight defects and increase overall product quality.

● Optimise QA efforts provided by QAs to have right balance of effort and quality and ensure timely QA sign-off

● Identify, document and track issues using JIRA or equivalent.

● Execute and monitor automated and manual test cases, analyze results, and report findings to stakeholders.

● Ensure compliance with software quality standards and security best practices.

● Drive improvements in test automation, explore new tools and technologies, and enhance the overall QA process.

Nice to Have

● Automation experience with TestSigma, BrowserStack, Katalon, Appium etc.

● Experience in perf or load testing using custom scripts or JMeter etc.

● Experience in B2B Travel, Expense or Fintech products.
