THIS POSITION HANDLE THE PATTERN MAKING (MANUAL/CAD)

• Pattern checking
• Product detail development

THIS POSITION DIRECTLY REPORTS TO HIGHER MANAGEMENT

Responsibilities

• Work as per the order priority with designers. (Due dates)
• Set the priority for the day.
• Pattern alteration should be done on priority immediately when discussed.
• After the patterns are ready make sure all the pattern parts of the garments are there and nothing is missing.
• Ensure all the instructions like notch marks, seam allowance, grain line, front /back, size, etc are mentioned on pattern pieces.
• In the case of pattern making of draping garments notch marks and direction of notch marks should be marked on the pattern.
• Boning should be marked on a pattern.
• Pattern with block cut should have mold pattern
• In the case of asymmetric garments side of the pattern should be mentioned with the pattern (for example – skirt front -left side panel
• All patterns should have their layering name mentioned. (Lining, interlining etc)
• Write the no. of pattern pieces for all the patterns on the pattern cover.
• Small pattern parts like binding, facings, pockets, loops, etc should be included in the pattern.
• All custom patterns should have the word ‘CUSTOM’ with PO mentioned on it.
• Patterns with minor alterations like length, raise front neckline, etc. should have the patch put on it with custom writing that can be torn off later.
• Mark depth of pleat and direction of pleat.
