About the Role

As a Business Product Analyst, you will act as the strategic bridge between Business/Product Heads, Technical/IT teams, and end-users. You are responsible for transforming raw data into actionable product features, optimizing customer journeys, and ensuring your products remain competitive in the digital financial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Translate complex banking/business needs into clear, structured User Stories, Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), and Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs).
  • Data & Portfolio Analysis: Analyze product performance, funnel conversion rates, customer behavior, and channel productivity to drive data-led decision-making.
  • MIS & Reporting: Lead the preparation and dissemination of accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX, IT, Operations, and Compliance teams to execute API integrations, product rollouts, and platform enhancements.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Guide the QA team in writing test cases, ensure all platform releases function correctly, and manage product rollouts.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Keep track of fintech trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., SEBI or RBI) to adapt product features.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or Economics; MBA or quantitative Master's degree (like Statistics/Analytics) is highly preferred.
  • Experience: Typically 3 to 7 years in retail lending, digital banking, or product/business analytics.
  • Technical Skills: Data & Analytics: Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, or SAS. Visualization: Experience with Power BI or Tableau to build insightful dashboards. Process Tools: Familiarity with process mapping and agile software tracking (e.g., Jira, Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional storyline building, presentation skills, and the ability to articulate technical data into understandable business value.
