We're Hiring: PR & Communications Lead

Urban Gabru (part of GlobalBees) is looking for a PR & Communications Lead to build and protect our brand and leadership reputation across media, digital, and public platforms.

About the Role

You'll own the strategy, planning and execution of our PR and communications efforts — with a strong focus on founder and leadership profiling, media relations, and online reputation management. This is a role for someone who can work directly with founders and leadership, manage external PR and influencer agencies, and respond quickly and thoughtfully to reputation-sensitive situations.

What You'll Own

• Founder and leadership profiling — media engagement, LinkedIn/social presence, and third-party interactions like panels, podcasts and press interviews.
• Media relations and press communication — press releases, corporate announcements, and brand narratives tied to launches and milestones.
• Online reputation management across Glassdoor, Google, Quora, Reddit, Trustpilot and more.
• Crisis communication and third-party seeding when needed.
• PR agency and influencer collaboration oversight.
• Media coverage tracking, PR impact analysis, and performance reporting.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5+ years in PR, corporate communications, or media relations — ideally in D2C, consumer, or startup environments.
• Experience managing founder/leadership profiling and media engagement.
• Strong media/journalist relationships and familiarity with media monitoring tools.
• Experience managing PR and influencer agencies.
• Strong writing skills for press releases and corporate narratives.
• A calm, structured approach to crisis and reputation management.
• Comfort working directly with founders and senior leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Experience in beauty, personal care, grooming, fashion, lifestyle, FMCG or D2C brands.
• Exposure to investor/corporate communications.
• Existing relationships with PR agencies, journalists, and digital media platforms.
