Project Manager – Agile Delivery for Self-Managed Team
Experience: 8-15 years (with at least 2 years in Agile/Scrum projects)
Location: Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, India
At Remiges, our Project Managers aren’t task trackers — they’re facilitators. You’ll work with a
self-driven Agile team where every member owns the outcome. Your role is to keep the flow
smooth: remove hurdles, keep communication clear, and make sure client priorities and team
efforts stay perfectly aligned.
What you’ll do
● Act as the client-facing delivery lead — understand requirements, priorities, and ensure
clarity throughout.
● Monitor project progress, sprint discipline, and quality; ensure process adherence and
documentation.
● Ensure sprints are opened, executed, and closed on time, with deliverables shared and
accepted by clients.
● Raise red flags early on delays, spec gaps, or dependencies; work with clients and
teams for quick resolution.
● Handle spec clarifications, change requests, and sign-offs; track CRs to closure.
● Oversee milestone tracking, delivery acceptance, and invoicing readiness.
● Negotiate timelines, extensions, and additional business opportunities as projects
evolve.
● Drive client governance calls, ensuring transparency and confidence in delivery.
● Support the team in staying organized, unblocking issues, and maintaining focus on
outcomes.
● Work with leadership to ensure project profitability and client satisfaction.
What the Project Manager Will Not Do
● Micromanage developers or dictate technical decisions — the PM facilitates delivery, the
team owns execution.
● Write code, review code, or decide architecture — technical ownership stays with leads
and engineers.
● Work as a task tracker or scheduler — focus is on flow, clarity, and removing blockers,
not policing.
● Bypass team channels to talk directly to individual contributors for pressure or shortcuts.
● Overcommit to clients without consulting the delivery team on effort and feasibility.
● Ignore process — skipping documentation, retros, or sprint hygiene is not acceptable.
● Operate in isolation — project status and challenges must be openly discussed with
delivery leadership.
What we’re looking for
● 8–12 years of experience in software delivery, preferably web or enterprise systems.
● Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern development practices.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
● Someone who leads with empathy, clarity, and accountability.
