About the Role

The role

Bhoruka Park Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable HR Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, ensuring HR policies align with legal requirements, and mitigating risks associated with labor and employment laws.

Reporting to the Head- HR & Administration


Key responsibilities

Compliance & Legal Adherence:

  1. Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and industry standards.
  2. Monitor and implement changes in labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR policies.
  3. Conduct internal HR audits to ensure adherence to legal and company policies.
  4. Manage statutory compliance, including PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor welfare fund contributions.
  5. Oversee POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) compliance and facilitate awareness programs.

Policy Development & Implementation:

  1. Develop and update HR policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  2. Ensure proper documentation and communication of policies to employees.
  3. Support HR teams in implementing best compliance practices across departments.

Employee Relations & Risk Management:

  1. Address employee grievances related to workplace policies and compliance issues.
  2. Handle legal notices, labor inspections, and liaison with government authorities as needed.
  3. Conduct compliance training sessions for HR teams and employees.
  4. Investigate workplace issues, ensuring legal and ethical resolutions.

Record Keeping & Reporting:

  1. Maintain accurate records related to compliance, audits, and HR policies.
  2. Prepare and submit compliance reports to management and regulatory bodies.
  3. Assist in payroll compliance, taxation, and benefits administration.


Key skills required:

  1. Bachelor's/Master’s degree in HR.
  2. 3-5 + years of experience in HR compliance, Karnataka labor laws, and statutory regulations.
  3. Strong knowledge of employment laws, including PF, ESI, minimum wages, gratuity, and labor codes.
  4. Experience handling labor audits, inspections, and legal compliance matters.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  7. Certification in HR Compliance or Labor Law is a plus.
  8. Experience working in the manufacturing OR real estate sector.
  9. Proficiency in HRMS and compliance management tools.
