The Estimator role at Konark Infratech is a full-time, on-site position based in Surat. The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects by analyzing drawings, specifications, and technical documents. Day-to-day tasks include quantity take-offs, collecting and evaluating material and labor costs, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations, and updating cost databases. The Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to support budgeting, tender submissions, and pricing strategies. The role also involves monitoring project cost variations, refining estimates based on actuals, and maintaining clear documentation for internal and client reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in cost estimation, quantity take-off, and budgeting for construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and project specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with estimation or construction management software.
• Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Prior experience as an Estimator or in a similar role within the construction or infrastructure sector is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Surat, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain organized documentation.
