The Trade Finance Lead in Business Treasury Operations is responsible for overseeing the entire Trade Finance Operation, managing overall liquidity, and ensuring adherence to related compliances. The Trade Finance Lead must possess a high level of proficiency in planning, enabling timely and accurate communication of the company's financial overall working capital position to various stakeholders.

Educational Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / ICWA / Inter CA / CFA or equivalent in Financial Management.

Work Experience: Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in operations, or a related field, with at least 3-4 years in a middle level leadership role. Must have knowledge and experience in Banking operations, Trade Finance, Capital Finance and MIS & Compliance. This includes managing the issuance and administration of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Acceptance, and Buyers Credit. Extensive experience in trade finance functions, including expertise in managing day to day requirements of LC / BG / BC / Vendor Finance etc., as well as ensuring rigorous governance and compliance related to trade finance operations.

• Ensure the maintenance of efficient processes by managing the issuance and administration of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), Acceptance, and Buyers Credit and Vendor Financing.
• Ensure operations perform within TAT and undergo frequent checks for process effectiveness, enabling near real-time accounting in line with excellence standards.
• Drive continuous process audits to ensure operational excellence and adherence to best practices.
• Identify gaps in trade finance processes and implement best-in-class solutions for improved efficiency and cost reduction.
• Promote automation and AI-driven solutions to streamline trade finance processes, MIS for the business team, and audit schedules, as well as efficient working capital management, forecasting, and end-to-end month closing activities.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment and engagement through regular meetings, governance forums, timely escalations, and performance reporting.
• Drive the development of a system infrastructure that enables near real-time visibility of trade finance operations for key stakeholders, including CFOs, business units, and treasury teams.
