JD for Windows System Administration

- Monitoring system health performance Uptime and proactively address any issues that arise.

- Responsible for very high system availability and is on call on 24 X 7 basis.

- Perform Troubleshooting & Diagnose of Servers (Physical & VM).

- Managing user access, Group permission, Folder sharing & security permission.

- Software installation and upgradation.

- Proficient in Microsoft Windows operating systems and related technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, MS Cluster.

- Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware.

- Provide support to incidents and ensure timely closure of incidents with SLA compliance.

Update work logs, Alert Monitoring & Ticket Monitoring.

- New server creation & Configuration. Operating systems hardening knowledge.

- Capturing events & logs. Also Analyze & review critical events from event viewer.

- Good understanding of windows firewall & rule creation.

- Good knowledge on ticketing tool for change & service request management.

- good understanding on VA point mitigation and CIS benchmark mitigation.
