Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG

Independently write, review, and optimize test code without heavy reliance on templates or existing frameworks

Build and maintain regression test suites to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort

Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications

Conduct API testing and validation using Postman and REST Assured

Collaborate with developers and business analysts in defect triage, root cause analysis, and defect tracking

Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven

Maintain test cases, execution reports, and defect logs using test management tools

Work in Agile/Scrum delivery cycles and support production releases

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation

Strong independent coding skills — ability to write automation scripts from scratch

Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java

Experience with TestNG, Cucumber, and Data-Driven Testing frameworks

Hands-on experience with API testing tools — Postman and/or REST Assured

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and Maven

Familiarity with Appium for mobile application testing

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle

Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments

Basic proficiency in SQL for data validation

Experience with Playwright or similar modern test automation frameworks

Knowledge of JavaScript for test scripting
