Video Editor

This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Kirabiz. The Video Editor will work closely with the creative and strategy teams to edit short-form video content for Instagram and other social platforms, ensuring alignment with each client’s personal brand and marketing objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and editing raw footage, selecting music and sound effects, refining pacing and narrative flow, and applying color grading and motion graphics to enhance visual impact. The role also involves creating platform-optimized formats, ensuring brand consistency across multiple clients, and collaborating on new content concepts that support organic growth and audience engagement. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high production standards in a fast-paced, digital-first environment.

Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, with experience creating short-form content for social media platforms. Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visuals that match brand guidelines and storytelling goals. Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, transitions, and visual elements that enhance viewer retention. Candidates should have proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion design software (e.g., After Effects). Candidates should demonstrate strong storytelling ability, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media trends, especially on Instagram and TikTok. Candidates should be able to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate clearly with cross-functional teams. A portfolio showcasing relevant video projects and short-form content is required; prior experience in personal branding, marketing, or agency environments is a plus. A degree or formal training in film, media, design, or a related field.
